Kikili House is Sri Lanka’s Five Star Boutique Bed & Breakfast

Kikili House

Kikili House is owned and run by Henri Tatham and Kokila Harindra.

Henri moved to Sri Lanka 10 years ago to manage The Taprobane Collection — an exclusive group of villas and hotels in the South of the island. Koki was born and grew up in Galle, and has a unique knowledge of the area and the country.

Kikili House is sister property to Kikili Beach, a beautiful and flamboyant beachside holiday home nearby.

Henri & Koki

Together, Henri and Koki have launched Kikili House as an innovative creative, colourful, calm, homestay in the Heritage town of Galle in southern Sri Lanka.

Kikili means “Hen” in Singhalese, and Kokila means “Cockerel”, so they are obviously a match made in heaven!

Koki’s specialist and detailed knowledge combined with Henri’s enthusiasm and love of life make them the perfect hosts for your time in Sri Lanka.

Kikili House is a colourful but cosy urban retreat with a tropical garden, a large spacious verandah and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Solo travellers — women very much included — can feel completely at home at Kikili House.

The house has five double bedrooms, all with a/c & en suite modern bathrooms. Breakfast is home cooked, wifi is free, power is solar. We run an honesty bar, stage cinema screenings and host fun, informal dinners for guests and friends.

Come and join us. We’d love to see you!
